The new technologies of digital cameras have become more and more complex, which leads to creating more sophisticated parts and more complex disposable waste. Based on that issue, Bryn Seymour and Jon Rothapfel tried to help creating self powered eco friendly camera. Inspired by other contemporary self powered devices such as radios and lamps, the Twist Camera is a small portable digital camera that uses a winding mechanism for power and would be capable of taking several photographs per cycle of the mechanism.
The Twist Cameras features are minimal with the view finder being a simple hole in the body for the user to look through, a knob to wind for energy, one button for shooting a photograph and a multi colored L.E.D. (Light Emitting Diode) for the user interface.

Green Technology Multitasking is an important part of our personal and professional lives, but sometimes you need to focus. Tame lets you concentrate on work when you need to, without giving up the peace of mind that you will still be able to receive a call if it is urgent. Tame doesn’t screen any incoming calls, so you can still answer any message if you choose.
Tame is a concept that sets a status message synced with all of your devices and applications. If you’re driving or need some privacy, you can tell Tame to handle auto-responses to your phone, IM, text, Facebook, and more. You can store messages on each face, and when you need to change your status, just rotate the cube to the desired face. Besides a written message, Tame uses a red-yellow-green color coding system to let people know at a glance if they can contact you.

Vostok bathroom design from ROCA competition. Anything that comes out of the Yar Rassadin’s design idea of bathroom accessories will go back to the pre USSR era. The design overall gives a feeling of nostalgia as the design looks more like the USSR spaceships, which by the designer’s own confession is a tribute to their cosmic style. So the user can have a feel of weightlessness in a spaceship inspired bath tub. Interesting! Don’t you think so? Still the clean functional design does show up nice details. So all in all, it is an interesting concept.

Travel The Bath Safeguard product designed by Taiwan based Kai Yi Chen is surely an interesting concept. This product measures the bath water temperature through smart color coding thus negating the need of use of hand. While a blue color signifies cold water, the green says its lukewarm while red indicates a hot water. So, isn’t that smart? With the product recognizing a temperature range of 81 to 113 degree Fahrenheit and an option of temperature display in both Fahrenheit and Degree Celsius, it is a smart device that can be used for daily usage. You don’t need to use your hand, just watch the light of the bath safeguard.
