World-recognized design firm RKS has envisioned an innovative cooking vent concept aiming to bring a breakthrough of customizability for future kitchens. This cost-effective and retractable kitchen vent solution can create a dream kitchen environment that offers a whole new model for kitchen appliances.
Unlike the traditional ventware systems, both the filter units and plates of RKS can fit easily into a dishwasher for easy cleaning. The Season Cooktop Ventware eliminates the possibility of getting outdated after few years since the replaceable face is available not only in different colors, but also in different styles.
The Pavilion 21 MINI Opera Space is one of the tiniest but most interesting designs by Wolf Prix for the Munich Opera Festival 2010 with a maximum seat capacity of 300 only. The designers have achieved a visually and acoustically pleasing lightweight structure through enhancing the visualizing properties of the tilted walls and enlarged surface area. Also, this design strategy reduces the influence of external sound sources. The pavilion is 17 meters wide, 21 meters long and around 6 to 8 meters high which will be placed in a way that it will act more like a sound reflector than a barrier to the passing by car’s sound.
The Landscape Bathtub concept was envisioned to meet problem of limited resources of energy and space in near future. This project is designed to transform its shape to meet the requirements for different scenarios. For example, the landscape will be a shower deck during the fast morning, which will transform into a long relaxing bathtub during evening. The landscape is made of transformable thick silicon/rubber including an air pumping mechanism inside. Moreover, the concept offers vibro-massage feature based on turbulent pumping arrangement inside the rubber skin and an option to resize the bathing area as per the particular user’s need in order to optimize the usage of space and water.
Stone in the Creek is a wall basin mixer concept that can radically reduce the amount of water wastage during everyday use. This useful concept has two modes, one is Straight flow mode and another one is Side flow mode. Water flows straight as usual when it is in Straight flow mode, which releases water fast and in high volume, ideal for pouring water. On the other hand, the Side flow mode offers larger surface area of water than Straight flow mode but fewer volume of water flowing per second. This mode is ideal for rinsing large objects or washing hands.
The ultimate clean toilet is specially designed to be used for public toilets since they are normally dirty. The concept is consisting of two systems, one is the urinal part and the other is the toilet part. Male users can easily use the urinal part and if they want to use the toilet part, a button is there on the top of it which will allow the user to turn it around. Moreover, the toilet features UV light system and hot system inside for comprehensive sterilization. The sleek design and functional shape of this toilet will surely enhance the elegance and usability of a public toilet.
The Last Drop concept derived from the inconvenience of pumping up the finishing liquid from the bottom of a shampoo or shower gel container to avoid everyday wastage. The bottom of Last Drop container is designed in a way that the finishing liquids are stored in a cone following by slopes both side where the dispenser can easily reach and let the user to have even the last drop of liquid. The container is beautifully designed to enhance the bathroom décor and lets the user to see how much more liquids are left inside. This product is very helpful for recycling and anti-water pollution with its useful functionalities.
Phyto-purification bathroom is a concept bathroom that features the phyto-purification natural filtering principle, becoming a mini eco-system that can recycle and regenerate the waste water. This purification system includes an organic system that purifies the used water from the washbasin and the shower before re-using. This system will reduce the waste of water as well as let the users save a considerable amount of bills that they are paying for excessive use of water. The phyto-purification is a water recycling process that is most commonly being used in ecological purification systems and can be used even in remote areas where water problem is being considered as one of the vital ones.
